What a weekend! Our Looper Gathering for January 2011 kicked off the new year with a weekend of food and fun. More than 60 of our Great Loop guests enjoyed the unsurpassed hospitality offered by "Florida's Friendliest Marina", making memories that won't soon be forgotten. As you can see from some of the photos below, some of our Loopers even drove by car from TENN, GA, AL, TX, SC, and Seattle Washington to be with us.
The activities kicked off Friday night with a good-old-southern BBQ provided by one of PSJ Marina's biggest supporters and avid sailor, Mr. Jim Morpeth. Jim is the owner of Country's BBQ in Columbus, GA.
The memories continued into Saturday with a nice continental breakfast. And to top off the day, Saturday evening featured a Low Country Boil with PSJ Marina employee John Cannon serving as our resident chef-extraordinaire. A great selection of fabulous desserts were provided by our guests.
Sunday morning's buffet breakfast at Dockside Restaurant was enjoyed by all. The restaurant is located right on the PSJ Marina's dock, and is always a favorite food and watering hole for any marina guest. Our Loopers were no exception!
Watch for more events like this to come. The Port St. Joe Marina isn't called "Florida's Friendliest Marina" for no reason! I think you will find our Loopers agree...just read their comments
